About Us

The Oasis Soup Kitchen is a non-profit organization that serves free lunches six days a week to low income and homeless people in Crook County, Oregon. We also give away free clothing, blankets, and food boxes to those in need. The idea for the ministry was originally conceived and birthed by Ron and Marlene Davis. As of January 1, 2008, Calvary Chapel of Crook County assumed the oversight and day to day operations of this ministry. With this oversight, Brandi Avery was brought on staff to manage the soup kitchen. None of this would be possible without the support of the local churches, businesses, and organizations that help bring this vision to life on a daily basis.
